Anomaly

You are not the last,

          You are the first

You say what needs to be said,

You walk the path boldly

    Holding empathy in your hand,

You ruffle feathers walking by.

It hasn't been easy,

  and honestly it's not.

However, that gift to stand independently

    has been your driving force.

Your North Star.

   That edgy raw voice,

    Aligned with the stars,

Centered in the Sun

       navigating from the heart.

Speaking in the moment,

        creating waves of change.

Left to your own devices,

Courageously stand in that UNKNOWN!

There is nothing like it.

That fresh feeling against the wind,

the warmth of creation around you.

No one can stand up to that.

           Why?

Because it took humility to look up,

ask God to show you the way

and design your life.

Because that's all you had.

  And that's what people can't stand.
