Different

Keep your heart open

no matter what happens.

People will misjudge you,

mistakes will happen.

There will be days of sorrow,

of loneliness and tears.

Days that you wish would end,

before they begin.

We all have good and bad days

Misunderstandings,

and things we could have said

or done differently.

But there is hope,

there is always hope.

We can try again,

open our hearts again.

So let your heart open,

and realize we are no different

from each other.

We are all doing the best we can

with what we know how to do.

And all we really want

is to be loved and understood.
