She Knew

He gazed deeply into her eyes,

deep into the very depths

of all she was.

The clouds dark and stormy,

roll along the horizon.

Thunder grumbles,

and pressure builds in stillness.

Heat rising, shifting Earth

wind aroused,

pulsing temperatures illuminating.

She smiled peacefully,

she knew who he was...

Without saying a word, she knew.
