Smile

He left a smile on my face

Perhaps a dimple or two 

I couldn’t kiss him 

he’s too far away 

But I know he feels my heart 

and in this way too

I know he’ll dream of me soon 

and I will dream too 

Falling fast asleep 

with smiles on our faces 

Rose-tinted dreams 

of what we may be like
