Speak to me.

     Words I need to hear 

          Words only you can provide 

Speak to me with your hands 

     Remind my body 

                     who you are. 

Wrap me in your care, 

     Let me melt and shed my armor 

Speak to me... 

         Let me know you are near. 

Hold me and don’t let go. 

Be with me here

     Don’t you know I crave your touch?

Do you sense my longing heart?

    Do you remember me? 

Speak to me 

     Appear to me 

          Share life with me 

Many tears have fallen in your absence.

Strength grown 

Silence maintained in unwavering composure.

Nights grown strong without you 

 Appeals made to God for just one kiss.

I know you feel me, 

             I know you’re near. 

Speak to me.
