Thunder Wings

Flitter flutter, thunder wings

Drums drumming 

beating, heating, thumping feet

Holy Spirit coming to meet the new 

to enter in and become one

New birth,

sacred cave opening 

Flitter flutter, thunder wings

kiss my child and give me strength 

One with God, all I am opens.

Nature hums, my pulse thrums

Pain harmonizing with orgasmic tremor

Drums beating, soft cries

body breathing,

Astonishment as I hold you for the first time.
