Take a moment and write from your heart,
look back at your life and breathe.
Pretend you’re an outside reader,
someone who has a completely different view on life.
Someone excited to read what you wrote for the first time.
Now look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see?
Do any memories stop you from smiling? Is there an emotion there you don’t like that makes you avoid your own eyes?
Do you appreciate who you see?
Or are you afraid that if you were to write from the heart, someone may see you at your most open?

Who we are is not defined by the voice inside our heads but rather defined by its silence.
When we are silent we hear our hearts speak and when we are silent we know what to do.
And when we write, a special kind of magic is left for the world to experience.
Perhaps, even unlock a caged heart that’s seeking what you’ve walked through.
